Privacy Policy 

I have updated my privacy policy to reflect the changes in law; to better protect, and give users more control and choice over how their personal data is used. I have set out below how and why we collect personal data, and how you can view, update and even delete personal data held by me. 

Your privacy, my promise 

Here at Simply Tidy with Jane I take your data privacy very seriously and have policies and procedures in-place to ensure your data is kept safe at all times, and that no unauthorised use of your data will take place. Explicit consent will be asked for whenever we request your personal information, and it’ll be made clear to you how I intend to use your data. 

General website browsing 

This website does not collect personal information unless we specifically ask for information from you. I do collect anonymous information such as pages viewed etc. for the sole purpose of analysing what content and features people find interesting and useful. I will use this information to improve the user experience and decide what new features may be welcome. 

Personal data I collect 

If you want to take advantage of specific services that I offer you may be asked for personal information. In this instance I will only use the personal information you provide to deliver the services and information you have asked me to. 

How I will use your personal data 

I will not sell or rent your personally identifiable information, gathered as a result of completing the forms on this website, to anyone. I will however send personally identifiable information about you to other partner organisations, companies or people when I have your consent to share the information; where I respond to court orders, legal processes or where I am required by law to do so; or where a service you have requested is supplied by a partner organisation on our behalf. 

Mailchimp 

When you choose to signup to our newsletter, your name and email address will be shared with our mailing list provider Mailchimp. This data is stored securely and access is restricted to relevant Simply Tidy with Jane employees. You can unsubscribe from mailing lists by either following the 'unsubscribe' link at the bottom of any email, or by emailing us at jane@simplytidywithjane.co.uk. Security 

All personal data captured is securely transferred and stored. Access to this stored data is restricted to authorised Simply Tidy with Jane employees who require the data to act on your behalf. 

Cookies & Google Analytics 

I use cookies – small text files stored on your computer – to learn more about how you use our website so that I can improve it over time. Like many other websites I use Google Analytics to collect this data. I also use a cookie to store your acknowledgment of my use of cookies.

• If you wish to be forgotten (I will delete all personal data we hold on you). 

• If you wish to update your personal data, e.g. change of email address. 

How long do I keep your personal data for? 

Your personal data is only retained for a period where it has been deemed beneficial to you, and an explicit request has not been made to remove such data.
